As I have said, Im doing easier motives for a while. I feel like I needed to start from scratch, to try to form my own style of doing images. The way I worked before was very random and changed from image to image. Each took longer and longer time to do. Trying to actually paint like I do on a real canvas does not work very well in Photoshop.
Thats why Im trying to do things from scratch. Finding out what works early on, so I can work a lot more effectively with more complex images later. Form my own style to save time and at the same time create better images for you all to view.
Right now Im struggling with shading. I could do everything anime-style cel shaded, but personally, I want to try to make things a little prettier than that. As a result, I have checked out quite a few tutorials lately, I never did that before. Things are hard to do still, but hopefully, it will go a little smoother.
For my current image Im following one tutorial and for my next Ill try another.
Now, my question to you. Do any of you have any good tutorials on advanced coloring in Photoshop? Shading, painting and light effects and stuff like that? Ill be thankful for anything that can make my work a little easier. Up to this point I have teached myself everything and thats not a effective way to work
i might upload some of my lineart so people can use that for prints if they want to
